Protector of the Reach.

After the fall of Highgarden and the death of the loyal Xander Rowan, many Lords of the Reach doubt the decision to give command over the Reachmen host to a landless bastard. Khailee Flowers, House Tyrell's sworn sword and protector, had taken the bulk of the Tyrell cavarly and rushed to Old Oak. Now she would be descended upon by the Lion's jaw.

The Lannister host began their march from Highgarden, outnumbering Khailee more than two to one. At their helm, a new commander in the Westerlands employ, Rhaela Velaryon, the daughter of Driftmark. Beside her, Maxwell Lannister, the youngest son of Casterly Rock.

As the red host moved out of Highgarden, ships left the city's harbor. The Lannister fleet, laden with a second great host, was on the move, led by both Tyndar Lannister, the eldest son, and Lord Admiral Thomas Farman, away from the Reach.

As the Lannister column advanced toward Old Oak, the air was rife with bad omens. A cold wind from the Sunset Sea pelted the resolve of these knights of summer. Rhaela grew impatient on the march, her scouts had not returned from Old Oak. Maxwell suspected the Tyrell's had moved on to Crakehall, hitting them in their territory now.

The Tyrell host moved fast. Their commander was half of the north and these cold winds bode her well. She pushed them onwards towards Highgarden. There was a rendezvous she dare not miss. An old friend would expect her soon.

Not far from the crossing of the Mander River, on the fields surrounding the Ocean Road, is where the two armies met. The battle of the Ocean Road would be recorded by the Maesters in a chapter along the battle and the siege of Highgarden. It was here that the Reachmen would fight for their home.

As the lines clashed, the Lannister host dominated the Tyrell forces with their superior numbers. Khailee, just as she had done at the battle of Highgarden, would focus her energy on steadying the line, inflicting as much casualties as she could and bide time. Both Lannister commanders knew however, that there was no castle to retreat to this time. She would punish them, but they would destroy her this time.

As Khailee withstood the onslaught, she pulled her cavalry away from her flanks to reform behind her lines. Rhaela saw this opening and knew she wouldn't be able to react to a wedge into her formations. The Lannister force moved against her center hard. The Tyrell shieldwall began to crumble, the cavalry not attempting a counter attack.

Then she heard horns. Another host was moving in fast. A second Tyrell host was descending on Rhaela's and Maxwell's rear. Leading the vanguard was Clarton Tyrell, the heir of Highgarden. The force he led was small, but enough to balance out the numbers and disturb the Lannister formation. Waiting for exactly this, Khailee stormed her cavalry through the disturbed center formations, splitting the Lannister forces in two. She rode on a mad charge, combining her momentum with her fresh reninforcements from Oldtown. Houses Hightower and Florent, Tarly and Redwyne, none could doubt her now, as she decimated the entire left flank of the Lannister army, leading the rest into a disorderly and costly rout.

She did not pursue them however. As the broken host retreated up toward Crakehall, the Tyrell army pushed onward to retake their home. After only a few months, the Golden Rose banner flews above the gates of Highgarden again.

Wolfsmoot in the Barrowlands.

As the festivities at the city of tents commenced, House Stark was ready to welcome new members into their ranks.

One visitor, however, was to be turned away first. As Ser Jon Cafferen of House Baratheon and his retinue arrived at the occasion, it was Lord Sinclair Dustin of House Stark that welcomed them. The young Lord Cafferen was escorted quickly to a seperate tent, away from the Moot and its quickly approaching finale, to have drinks and merryment with Lord Dusting himself.

Though treated as an honored guest, Lord Cafferen noted the guards posted around their perimeter as Lord Dusting kept pouring him and his group ale. They would not be permitted to leave these premises until the morning, when House Stark had chosen new leaders without interference.

When it rains, it pours.

As one begins to ride for the Twins, their dark silhoutte towers into
the foggy, mud colored clouds of the Neck. As caravans of visitors
travel toward the ominous crossing by the Kingsroad, they hear a roar
of hooves and trumpets. Knights, the vanguard of the Tully army
barrels towards the seat of House Frey, at their head, Edmund Tully,
the Warden of the Trident.

As they pass the caravans, they arrive at a group of carriages bearing
the gold lion. The Lannister envoy is headed by Lady Linda Lefford,
who is quickly diverted from the Kingsroad. Lady Linda is temporarily
taken into Tully custody as her group is forced to stop by near
Fairmarket and refused to attend the gathering at the Twins.

Already inside the dark towers however, is a noblewoman, disguised
as a member of House Sunderland. As the gathering begins in earnest,
a looming figure appears in the grand hall, to booming applause. From
he fires of the Eyrie, Lord Edmund Tully enters, followed by noble bannermen, his grand host setting camp at the foot of the Twins.

His advisors want to introduce Lord Tully to Lady Sunderland, who's Husband served and died with Daemon Blackfyre II. at the Battle of the Blackwater. But she is no where to be found. Edmund puts his forces surrounding the castle on high alert and quickly she is found escaping the keep. Who he finds however, is not Lady Sunderland but, a disguised Lady Esther Royce, the wife of Artys of House Arryn.

Quickly, the vigil at the twins turns into a public execution. Lady Esther faces the Tully's justice in dignified prayer.

"I have returned from your home to find you in mine Lady Royce. Now I unite you with your daughter."

Known as the Pink Salmon, Lady Alice Mooton of Maidenpool has proven skillful at managing her family's lands, despite her age.
2.

Determination and persistence have brought Lord Aldo Piper to the Lordship of Pinkmaiden and now to the court of House Tully.

The Falcon King's Army.

Having lost a brother, a daughter, and now a wife to House
Tully, Lord Artys Arryn watches his assembling army from
Ironoaks. A mighty host, reinforced with sellswords from
Essos, ready to march to avenge the fallen.

With his enemies having left his lands, and his soilders being
once again ready to march to battle, Lord Artys finds himself at the
head of a formidable army.

Yet still, in the Stormlands and the North, the Reach and the Westerlands, troops are being drilled for future battles as the other Kingdoms recover from their losses.

Beneath the Gold, the Bitter Steel.

Haegon Blackfyre has always lacked his brothers ambition and recklessness.
While Daemon took the throne and lost it in a year, Haegon built his alliances.
With the conquerers sword at his side, the Golden Company and Bittersteel
stand with him. So does Dagon Greyjoy, the Lord Reaper that has put Westeros
to the torch for two years. Some of the most experienced and competent
battlefield commanders of their age are accompanying the young Haegon to
take the Iron Throne.

His eye is firmly set on House Baratheon and avenging his brother. House
Arryn has made up for their shortcomings in his eyes, so have House Lannister.
House Tully will surely be needed as well.

But as he sets sail for King's Landing, Ravens arrive at keeps across the realm. They speak of war and of submition to the Black Dragon. They speak of the remaining Targaryens and how Haegon plans to spare them. Of how the Houses must be united, not in punishment but in justice. The text runs long but is signed, unmistakenly, with "Lord Commander of the Golden Company and Hand of his Grace Haegon Blackfyre I. - Aegor Rivers."

Soon, the Gullet, the narrow straight connecting Blackwater Bay to the Narrow Sea is fully blockaded.
Across the water lies King's Landing, and the Lords Farman and Lannister carry a mighty cargo. Tens of thousands huddled under the hulls of these enourmous warships. The city must fall.

The Gullet.

As House Tyrell retakes Highgarden and Rhaela Velaryon retreats to Crakehall, the second Lannister host, defending the Reach under Thomas Farman is nowhere to be found.

Leagues away, a mighty warfleet sails past the Summer Sea. As the Lannister ships appear over the horizon from Tarth, the sailors of House Baratheon remain unfazed.

As dusk settles, the coast of Tarth is devastated with wrecked hulls and drowing sailors. Sinking the Baratheon fleet a mere afterthought, on their way northward.

Rogue Lords:

With the Iron Throne in tumult and the realm bleeding, many minor lords have taken to withholding their support in troops and taxes to both the crown and its wardens.

As Targaryen chases Blackfyre and the wheel turns, crushing those underneath, the roaming bands of outlaws threaten the stability of the realm.

- The major Houses are expected to pick up where the authority of the crown has been lacking. Through bids, pool a total of:
3 arms, 2 coin & 2 supply, to strongarm the minor lords into complying with their duty to the realm.

Failure: The rogue lords will legitimize their protest and lead to major delays of taxes across the lowest contributing 2 kingdoms, costing them 1 coin, 1 supplies & 1 arms each.
